Beuté Airess
One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned as an artist is that true creativity comes from trusting your intuition. When I pick up a paintbrush or begin an engraving, I’m not just following a technique or a predetermined plan; I’m allowing myself to be guided by an internal compass—a creative flow that knows where it wants to take me, even when I can’t see the full picture yet.
18 Years Painting/Drawing | 4 Years Teaching | Countless Wins and Losses
The idea behind Beuté in Ruin is rooted in the concept of finding beauty in destruction—a theme that feels more relevant than ever. With the global changes we’ve experienced in recent years, many of us are grappling with the idea of shedding old identities and embracing new ones. For me, this period has been about redefining my purpose, my art, and the way I want to connect with the world.
Through my rebrand, I aim to convey the message that, even in times of destruction—whether it’s personal or collective—there is an opportunity for growth and renewal. In these moments, we discover the beauty that lies in the ruins of what we once knew. It’s an invitation to awaken to our inner beauty, delve into our creative intuition, and express our deepest emotions through colors, textures, and innovation.
Expressing Emotions Through Color and Innovation
As part of this rebrand, I’ve been experimenting with new mediums, blending acrylic paint with engraving and natural elements like wood and flowers to create a more immersive, emotionally charged experience. For example, my painting Epiphany—a centerpiece of this new direction—explores the awakening of one’s true self through the symbolism of petals falling away, revealing inner beauty. The use of reflective gold strokes adds a layer of depth, reflecting the viewer’s thoughts and emotions as they engage with the piece.
The beauty of art lies in its ability to communicate emotions on a visceral level. In a time when many of us feel disconnected from the world and even from ourselves, art becomes a channel for emotional release. Through the new pieces I’m creating, I want to inspire others to explore their own emotions and find new ways to express them—whether through painting, fashion, or simply appreciating the artistry in everyday life.
As a mentor and teacher, I excel in creating a supportive and inspiring environment where students feel free to express their creativity and grow. My deep passion for art, combined with my diverse experience across multiple creative fields—ranging from fine arts to fashion and beauty—allows me to offer unique, well-rounded instruction. I understand the power of self-expression and always encourage my students to trust their intuition, embrace experimentation, and find their own artistic voice.
I’m patient, empathetic, and focused on fostering individual growth, making sure each student receives the attention they need to thrive. I take pride in guiding others on their creative journey, whether they’re exploring new techniques or building confidence through art. My ability to connect with people, especially kids, on a personal level helps create a nurturing space where learning is not just educational, but fun and deeply enriching.
With years of experience teaching over 10 art classes under my own company, I’ve honed my ability to communicate effectively, break down complex techniques into simple steps, and adapt my teaching style to suit different learning paces. My students leave not only with new skills but with a greater sense of self-awareness and creative empowerment.
